General Information:
Name: Regen Thomas Ashling Eale
Nicknames and aliases: Regen Eale or Thomas Eale
Gender: Male
Species: Squirrel
Age: 21


Description:

Regen is a tall squirrel, with black eyes and gold-brown fur. He usually wears a light tunic in a dark color such as black and a gold sash with gray trousers and black boots. He carries a small knife in his left boot. Sometimes he also wears a short sword on a belt around his waist. In a tournament or duel he uses a stabbing lance and a big shield, and wears a Roman-style visored helm.
His weapons are plain, but expensive-looking and well made, black leather and steel. His shield, however, has a black hawk below a quarter moon painted on it and is made of wood.

Personality:

Regen is rather strange. He is normally a friendly individual, with a humorous outlook on life and a streak of extreme stubbornness. He can, however, quickly become almost arrogant, and tends to run on his instincts rather than rational thought.
When drunk (which is, sadly, quite often), he becomes very serious and straightforward, and sometimes temperamental.

Skills:
Regen is well trained as both a scholar and a warrior. He is definitely more of a fighter, however. He can use most weapons to a certain point, although he can’t hit the side of a barn with an arrow. He is best with a lance or pike and a shield, but can quite easily use a heavy sword or mace in close combat.
Regen also plays an instrument somewhat like a lute, and even sings in a raspy sort of way.

History:
Regen came from the far south, in a mountainous region called the Arkains. He received a thorough education as a dibbun, both in literature-type subjects and warfare. He also learned to play a strange instrument that appears to be a variation of a lute.
As a teenager, Regen moved away from his family to the north and settled into the life of a foot soldier. He was hired by Lord Tervin Blackstar after a few unsuccessful years traveling around. For a while he was in a captain in a lancer’s division, but, after receiving rather serious wound, was placed in command of Border Patrol 4, which was stationed near Terralux.
Regen led his patrol into a small battle between Terralux and a vermin band, and there met the leaders of the village. A year or so later, when his commission was up, he moved to the village and became a warrior in residence there.

Family:
Kiren Stibren, a distant cousin on his father’s side. Stibren is a member of the squirrel family that Regen’s grandfather broke off from.
Regen is the youngest son of Embersky Eale, a minor squirrel lord in the Arkains.

*You haven't beat me yet, Stibren!
*The other squirrel smirks at him. *Yea, but I've nearly done it!
*Kiren Stibren bounces forward on the branch, his own rapier flicking out at Regen. The golden squirrel notices that he's getting towards the end of the tree branch, and decides to go down in a blaze of glory.*
*AR!
*Stibren quickly blocks the barrage of hits coming from Regen, teeth bared, and disarms the other squirrel before he gets killed.*
*Eale, it's not a BROADSWORD. You don't do that!
*Regen looks ruefully down at the rapier on the ground below, then says sulkily, *You an' your Southern weaponry. Gimme a good mace any day.
*Stibren jumps out of the tree, rolling his eyes. *You always were a barbarian, Eale.
*Regen glares after him and yells back, *An' you've always been a Saracen, yerself, Stibren. * He adds, more quietly, *Not that that was a s'prise t' anyone.

OOC: Aren't Regen's family relations great?

Nefertari has unyielding faith; loyal and honest to the core, she will not hesitate to speak exactly what she is thinking.
Although her outspoken nature allows those around to hear her moods of happiness, boredom and irritation, there lies
much more beyond that, which is masked by a bright, mischievous exterior, that is amazingly carefree and unconcerned,
and it is a sheer wonder. Considered the 'stronger', and 'louder' twin, she is bold, playful, and if a bit teasing. She and
Dante make a force to be reckoned, and it would be best to not to trick or fool these two, as they will deliver such treatment
back, but with twice and mischief and thrice the annoyance. Although Nefertari's world seems to revolve only about she
and he, she adores Dante with everything she is, and is incredibly over-protective of him. They are almost always together.
Personality - [Negative]
Nefertari's devotedness would probably be an annoyance to anyone other than Dante, to feeds off such attention; with
her loose tongue that cannot tell lies, she can and often hurts others with her brutal honesty, although it is often used to
convey her own point, or for her own benefit, and she doesn't mind hurting another's feelings (as long as they're not
Dante's) in order to get what she wants. She can easily become jealous, and deals with her emotions childishly - she
will yell, cry with frustration and isolate herself, partially for attention, and partially because she doesn't know any other
way. She is very possessive of her brother, and of the very few people she considers "friends". Her mischief at times can be
ill-natured and for revenge, but with that laid-back smile of hers, you wouldn't be able to guess her intentions.

Fears -
Only Dante knows of Nefertari's fear, Hydrophobia - or, the fear of water. She cannot swim, although she is fine to look at
it, she often stays a few meters from the edge of banks and any pool of water big enough to swim in. She can't help but
staring uncertainly at puddles that may bar her path, before skirting them. Bathing is a horrible chore, but with Dante's
help, she gets through it on a regular basis, which has toughened her up... slightly.

Appearance - Coat
Her coat is sleek against her skin, smooth with a healthy gleam and neatly brushed; her pelt's colour could be described
as a shade of 'honey', or perhaps a faded hue of dusted brown-and gold. Nefertari does not over-groom her fur, but she
does like the keep it in the best condition she can (with as little effort as possible), and at times she had experimented
with strange, natural dies - these have long since washed out, however.
Appearance - Eyes
Her orbs are most certainly beguiling; despite her loud, outspoken disposition, and her inability to socialise like a
normal creature, they shimmer with warmth, and a soft kindness. Her irises are engulfed in chocolate brown, gleaming
gently when the light highlights the darker shades of brown. Her eyes are framed with long, dark lashes, which at
times when her eyes are half-closed, can give her a tired, wistful expresion.
Appearance - Body
Nefertari's body is considered rather tall; she is slender, but not athletic, and she lacks any sort of muscle mass, which
may add to her uselessness in any form of battle other than verbal fights. Although she doesn't have speed, strength
or authority, she had confidence, which reflects in the way she - almost arrogantly - walks, as though she is of nobility.
Her large, fuzzy ears are unable to be lifted far from their position of drooping down the sides of her face, but she
does have rather acute hearing. Her features are charming and pleasing to view, but rarely will she smile at another who
isn't her brother, even when she is splendidly happy. More than often, it is a scowl, or a smile aimed solely at Dante.

History - The Past
Some of Nefertari's earliest memories envolving her brother are filled with jealousy and spite; she had been born in
early Winter, along with her twin brother Dante, and it seemed from the very beginning her mother favoured him. She
often compared the two on scale, and would constantly remind her to "smile brighter like Dante" or for she to "sit
properly like Dante". He was so gentle and kind, Dante was often the reciever of attention; Nefertari longed for the
same affection, but it would be impossible for she to become like him. Their personalities were completely different. So,
instead, she became louder, more forceful and bolder. She wanted to make her presense known.

By this time, she had grown to hate her brother - he was perfect to everyone, there was supposedly nothing
wrong with him, yet she was being criticised at everything she did and said! She hated being the imperfect twin. Around
this time was when she and Dante began to physically fight. She would scratch, bite and kick him, and of course she
would always end up in trouble from mother afterwards. She would worriedly check Dante for any injuries, before yelling
at herself, and sending her off without dinner. But it was Dante's fault. It was his fault for stealing her love. Their
fights got worse, and Dante also began to instigate fights; of course, she was blamed wordlessly by her mother,
which seemed to satisfy Dante no end. At seven, Nefertari couldn't take it anymore - she was beginning to feel
such overwhelming guilt for all the nasty things she said to Dante - she was his older sister, for seasons sake! So,
the next time she and he were alone, she collapsed against, crying, sobbing, and admitted her jealousy.

She could not see Dante's shocked features as he cradled her sobbing, shivering form against his shoulder; but, a few
tears did slip from his chocolate brown eyes, exact duplicates of Nefertari's. He admitted he himself had been consumed
by envy of Nefertari, and he too had wanted to apologise to all the horrible thing he himself had said. Nefertari was simply
astounded. She had been jealous of all his quiet sweetness, and how he had been loved by all, whilst Dante's envy had ori-
ginated from the desire to have her own bold, courageous nature; he had wanted to be loud, and he had wanted to be
looked at with not adoration, but respect. After these confessions, she and he became inseperable.

Although they had completely different dispositions, their minds thought very much alike, and they soon learnt all the
signs of each and every emotion that can and will occur, as well as how to handle them. She and he grew very protec-
tive of eachother, but particularly Nefertari of Dante, for she felt deeply ashamed for hurting as she did when they were
younger. She would never let that happen ever again. At fifteen years of age, the two grew tired of their mother.
Nefertari had simply grown accustomed to her (still!) constant comparisons, but she could tell Dante felt uncomfortable
at what their mother said, so they abandoned her. They left her, once and for all, although she pleaded them not to. She
cried, she broke down... but she didn't apologise once for the mistakes she had made. The departed a few last, slightly
cruel words upon her, before the two left to find their own paths. Together.

It wasn't long before they stumbled upon Terralux...

Nefertari felt the sweat that glistened in the soft, afternoon sunlight against her honey-coloured pelt roll down her temple and cheeks, to be flung off her jaw as she twirled elegantly. Her muscles lurched and retracted, bent and stiffened as she struck different poses, her mind working in collaboration with her body. Her chest rose and fell with exhaustion, but she drove on, unable to let herself falter just as she was about to reach the end of her routine. Her footpaws darted her and there, and her slender waist contorted into very postures, paw swaying as she danced - danced with all her might! All her heart! With everything that she was! However, she was not the sole character of the story her dancing wove. Her body swayed with and around that of another rabbit - Dante. Every time he passed her, as much as part of the performance as she - if more! - she could hear those quiet, sharp intakes of breath he made... he was loosing strength. Faster than her. Concern gripped the older sibling as she realised Dante, unlike her, would not be able to hold up to the finale... Why had he said nothing? She knew precisely why. With tears forming in her eyes, she reached out he arm, and seized her brother in the middle of one of his steps, drawing him close against her.*

Brother...*At a questioning glance from Dante, she continued.* I'm tired, brother! I don't have your strength! Can we please take a break?

*Dante nodded, and Nefertari released him; he watched the rabbit stumble to the ground, making a particular effort to pant louder than. He sat down next to her calmly, gleaming eyes fixed shyly on the ground between his legs, which were tucked loosely underneath his chin.* Sister, you are not a good liar... Thank you. *He raised his face to look at his twin, who's features were creased with concerned.*

Why do you punish yourself? *Nefertari's voice was soft and filled with worry; as Dante turned his head away once more, she demanded loudly.* Why do you push yourself so far? You are sick!

*Dante's gaze snapped quickly on Nefertari at this.* H-how did you-?

I felt it... when dancing, I brushed past your forehead... it was hot and burning... when we came together, I could feel your heartbeat - it was frantic! You could hurt yourself.

*Dante looked down, not liking the scoldings his sister. Silence stretched between the two, before finally, Dante answered quietly, rubbing a paw across his eyes.* I did it for you, sister.

*Nefertari, with a rush of emotion, engulfed Dante in an affectionate embrace, her brother resting softly against her warm form. She had the greatest of desires to protect him from any sort of harm, and he seemed to understand this, which is why he did not retaliate to her scolds; he was so calm and gentle... he was perfect. With a sigh, she stroked the fur between his ears.* Brother, you're so cute... But rest now, otherwise you will get sicker. Rest now... *Her voice trailed off and gradually, the two rabbits fell asleep together, locked in an unbreakable embrace.*

[Strongpaw]

Weapon:bow n arrows made from an oak tree and the fine feathers of a hawk and a steel saber wich has an onix as a pommel stone and a crosshilt the handle is wrapped in black leder.

Age: about 20 seasons almost 21

Personality:
strongpaw is a jolly fellow, althought he does almost anything for good vittles he is a cunning general in the art of war and is always ready to sing a nice tune on his Bamboo flute. he is the best of freinds but the worst to have as an enemy. he also is a very skilled runer and always tries to make other people laugh althought most of his jokes are pretty bad.

History:
strongpaw was born in the mountain fortress of salmandastron at the age of 12 seasons he went off questing, he only took two things from salmandastron with him: his fathers lucky medallion and his bow wich he made by himself on a sunny morning at salmandastron. he lived a life full of adventure, sometimes living with guosim shrews and other times passing for a bite of food at redwall abbey. he often goes to the northlands to visit his friends at noonvale
or to the dunelands for a chat with the dunehogs. at the age of 16 seasons he went back to salamandastron to visit his father and mother then one season later he went away again. he traveled for a long time until he heard of terralux and decided to go investigate. when he reached terralux he decided to stay there but once in a while he goes back to visit all the creatures who cared for him and were his friends.

Like I always say, "Might as well..."

Name: Silas R. Hawkeye
Gender/Species: Male squirrel

Basic appearance: Standing taller than most, Silas is a well-muscled athletic creature, not exactly a fitness nut though (No pun intended). The only unique mark on him is a scar on his chest, a mere blotch covered over by fur. Otherwise, he appears to be an average squirrel, of normal red coloration, with contrasting blue eyes, and clothes with subdued woodland colors. Wears a basic tunic, never one for formal attire. That is the basic appearance, as best I can describe in the time allotted to me.

Weapon(s): Silas has numerous weapons for differing occasions. Oftentimes, he uses his sword or bow, but will quickly change to his twin daggers if necessary. An additional weapon is a carving spoon, which can take somebeasts by surprise. Why he has these various tools of death is because he has to, essentially, being brought up in the Northlands. (Explain more if need be.)

Age: Just becoming a fully-fledged Adult, around 25 years.

Personality: Quiet, often musing about unknown subjects to the casual observer. But in battle, these traits give way to pure hatred, and sometimes irrational thinking as well. However, when questioned about certain subjects, he blatantly refuses to converse upon it. These are just the main personality traits I've managed to develop so far

History: Silas has a lengthy history, tracing his roots back to an Island in the western sea. In his life, though, he was born in the community of Noonvale, taught the ways of the warrior by his father, being a descendant of a western clan from the Isle of his ancestors. They did their training in secret, for the other clan members have mysteriously vanished under unknown circumstances. Until then, he's lived near there, being separated from everyone else for ten years, living out a meager existence among the Eastern cliffs. He did not know where to go, or where to search for his parents. After a series of events, he was led to Redwall, and stayed there briefly, only to be led further south, to a developing conflict between Danarth Tolrak and the Northern Peacekeeping Army. Into one of the many battles, he found out what had happened to his mother by seeing his father, Marcus, upon the field of battle. After learning his true past from that encounter, he took up a leadership position in the Reguban council, a combination of the four clans, as their cardinal directions (North, South, East, and West clan) dictated. However, their constant gibbering and mistrust drove him to near madness. He sought out a place where he could actually rest, where he could think on his own time. Silas traversed the path that "Would end in the Earth's light" As Deimar said. That path led to Terralux.

Short RP Example: *The storm raged outside the half-wrecked castle, rain drumming upon the roof of the Tower. A flash of lightning briefly illuminated the scene, followed by the boom of thunder. A fox advanced upon a squirrel, who was bruised, cut, and clawed in many different places. One wound in particular bled the most, and that was the re-opened arrow wound in his chest. He panted from exhaustion, nearly a dozen vermin lie dead in a circle around him as he lay against the circular wall.*

You die today, bushtail! *The fox shouted triumphantly over the howling winds. * You lose! *The squirrel looked up into the fox's face, a hardened edge of determination in his deep blue eyes. He got up without saying a word, lifting his sword, limping over to the fox who stood across the room. He tripped over a body, but kept going.* You care... to finish me, coward? See if you can...* He replied weakly. The fox retreated, since he was expecting the squirrel to be upon death's door from fighting his way up to the Tower.

Yeh, I'll do it, just like yer worthless friend. *The fox said, drawing his cutlass. At that remark, the squirrel leaped at him, swinging his double-edged sword with newfound strength.* YaaAAH! * Their blades clashed countless times, the weather outside as well as a battle below the castle raged on, indifferent to their struggle. The fox disarmed the squirrel with a flourish of his cutlass, sending the sword flying from his grasp. The fox then swung in a horizontal strike, which the squirrel managed to avoid by mere centimeters. As he dropped down, he picked up a wooden stake. As the fox completed his swing from left to right, the warrior squirrel leapt up, thrusting the jagged point deep into the vermin's' chest.

The dying fox fell backward, smashing through the remains of a window. As he fell he screamed his final scream. * AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaah! * So horrible, so loud was the scream that the battle lulled, beasts stopped fighting and looked upon the Tower. The squirrel also yelled, but it was one of triumph, of rage, of sorrow and loss in the silence. Even the weather seemed to stop and hear his voice.* RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! *He then collapsed upon the wooden floor, darkness creeping in on his vision. The last thing he heard before he was consumed by the black void was;* Silas! Silas! *The rest of the call was lost to hearing, as he was unconscious.*

He's not an orphan, I just didn't go into detail. Sorry 'bout that. Ye see, they were exported as slaves on different ships, seperated, not orphaned. Of course, he found out what happened to them before he found Terralux. As for the flaws, I can edit. Forgot to mention some stuff. Last few dyas I've been out of it. And if ye wanna know how he was found, go to REdwall Abbey Unofficial. That will explain a lot. or just give you more questions.

Nefertari - I'll grade you when you've finished the post. Good thus far.

Strongpaw - I've often seen history's like yours. Try and work something a little more original into your character's past and though your RP style is promising, you did not use capitalisation. Try and give your character some faults too.
Apart from all this, your post was a promising start. With some work, I'm sure you'll be able to get a top RP Grade. Grade 3.

Fireclaw - Your spelling and grammar needed some work, and your character's history was stu-ish and unoriginal. Also, there is no mention of grissly bears in the Redwall books.
When you re-post, please make your RP longer and do not g*d-mode. You cannot put things like "cuts down a tree" or "carves a reed flute." Both these things take time and you need to describe them. Perhaps Fireclaw may accidently cut himself as he carves the flute, perhaps his paws get tired or he makes a mistake.
I understand that Stoakly has offered to assist you with your RP.

History:

Strongpaw went on minor quests whit the long patrol until one day in a quest through the forest at the age of 19 seasons he came across Terralux. he was planing only to pass for a visit but the vittles were so good and the people so kind that he stayed there permanently althought some times he joins the long patrol for a quest or two.

Strongpaw - You're improving a lot. But first, try some more developed faults (as hares aren't expected to climb trees anyway) and punctuation. I can see the effort your putting into your RP example, and I think, if you improve punctuation and faults, then you'll be receiving at least Grade 2.

Description:
Strongpaw is a male sand colored hare he has blue eyes and has an ear that moves when he talks. He usually carries with him a lucky medallion around his neck and a blue bracelet on each paw. He is dressed with a blue medieval style t-shirt and a black leather belt.

Weapon: Bow n arrows made from an oak tree and the fine feathers of a hawk and a steel saber wich has an onix as a pommel stone and a crosshilt the handle is wrapped in black leather.

Age: Strongpaw is about 20 seasons almost 21

Personality:

Positive: Strongpaw is a jolly fellow, although he does almost anything for good vittles he is a cunning general in the art of war and is always ready to sing a nice tune on his Bamboo flute. He is the best of friends but the worst to have as an enemy. He also is a very skilled runner and always tries to make other people laugh.

Nonpositive: Most of his jokes are pretty bad, Strongpaw is secretly afraid of big fires (not as cooking fires or torches but big fire), he talks to much sometimes, his worse nightmare is playing an off-key note on his flute during a concert. and he eats too much ,more than any normal hare of his age.

History:
Strongpaw was born in the mountain fortress of Salmandastron where he was instructed by his father in the art of warfare during 11 seasons. At the age of 12 seasons he decided he wanted to explore the world and visit new places so he went off questing whit another hare. He took with him some vittles and most of his personal objects including a lucky medallion which he had received as a present at the age of 2 seasons. He lived at Redwall abbey in his younger seasons but left, although his traveling partner decided to stay at Redwall.
His sword was made by an otter blacksmith in one of his trips to the sea. At the age of 16 seasons Strongpaw went back to Salamandastron to visit his father and mother, he lived there for 2 seasons and joined the long patrol. Strongpaw went on minor quests whit the long patrol until one day in a quest through the forest at the age of 19 seasons he came across Terralux. He was planning only to pass for a visit but the vittles were so good and the people so kind that he stayed there permanently although some times he joins the long patrol for a quest or two.

Okay, I've finished Nefertari; you can grade that, and Dante is fairly similar, but I have to post that up for him to be active (right?), so I'll do that later - but for now, leaders, you may gradeth Neffers. XD

Oh, and my personality/appearance/bio/RPing Example will be rather tatty as it takes me a while to get into a new characters mind-set, and hopefully I will improve with these two. =]

Nefertari - Brilliant. I liked the fact that though Dante seemed perfect, he really wasn't, and that, although Nefertari was more dominant, in your RP example, she was happy to pretend not to be.
