Uh-huh... *The squirrel nods first as Tamar explains that it was a shortbow, then he looks back, trying to remember which direction the squirrelmaid had been facing when he had found her. Back then it was all just a big rush to him, snow and trees and all that.* So, you have a shelter out there? It'd probably be hard to find it again in that... *He gestures to the snowy wind outside the door, emitting a timely whoo... as it blew by.* Um, I'd say wait until tomorrow... Er, that is if you'd like to stay here. *He looks back at Tamar, all of a sudden wondering what she thought of him.*

*Tamar's hazel eyes shown in the firelight even though she shivered a little at the mention of going out to look for her tiny dray. She was a little too excited to stay here for however long he would allow her but she tried not to show her glee.* "I'd like that." *His blue eyes held her for a moment before she forced herself to look away.* "I mean if you don't mind and you have the extra space."

*Silas smiles at Tamar, firstly glad that she didn't choose to go and possibly get lost in the blizzard, and secondly just glad of her company in general. Maybe it was just that he had been alone too long...*
*He mentally discarded thr thought awy for a later time, and replies,* Oh, I won't mind. Certainly have the space, too. *He nods, indicating the rather large room they were both in, surrounded on three sides by windows, with hammocks and miscellaneous items strewn about on the inside, the foruth wall bearing two doors on either side of the fireplace, thel right one into the kitchen, the left into the officer's quarters. Everything was quite sparse, despite the addition of Silas' effects.*
