just a special little thing I'm writing for fun, enjoy.
Scramble around, awake, telly blaring,
quick stand up, the bed is wet, tread on the cat.
make up with the beast, run off as its staring,
getting dressed, from all angles, FAT.
stomp down the stairs, its afternoon,
get your breakfast, or is it lunch?
some arguement will begin soon,
shout a lot, run upstairs, give the desk a punch.
Write away, listening to odd tunes,
chatting to random people from the web.
writing fantasies, from places with three moons,
watching telly, typing away, watching a wingeing celeb.
chat to a friend, just home from that rough school,
says he can come over, gets distracted, mum says no.
goes on about random sh*t, thinks he's cool,
he's great really, but now dinner is ready, got to go.
Munch away, watching yellow people being funny,
pick out all the peppers, not really making a fuss.
go to ask for something, realise we have not enough money,
swear to myself, mum hears, she tells me "don't cuss."
Go outside with stepdad, drilling in some screws,
making a raised bed for the garden, great fun.
hammering away, drilling a lot, take a break, watch the news,
swine flu or bird, gonna kill us all, may as well run.
go back outside, do some more work,
enjoying myself, chatting to him, then it starts to rain.
running back inside, I say "don't forget your tools you berk!"
get back inside with them, do up the back door with a chain.
its late now, time to get myself some supper,
shout up to mum, she'll be here soon, to get some food too.
Get chatting randomly, I ask what the hell is a scupper,
she tells me loads, we finish preparing, go upstairs, I read, laugh till I turn blue.
Write and eat, say goodnight to mum, get told I have ten minutes, more like half an hour,
have lots of fun roleplaying,tell them my secrets.
get thinking about stories, like a beautiful magic flower,
roleplay some more, about thieves who steal pretty amulets.
Forgot to change into pajamas in time,
stepdad knocks on the door, tells me to be ready soon.
nearly ready, hear the clock do its chime,
jump into bed, stepdad comes into my room.
I'm ready for a story, of assassins of old,
he reads so little, I beg for more of this tale.
he reads for ages now, so much to be told,
he gives me my teddybears, and books old as the whale.
listen to my music player, reading and writing by hand,
feeling kind of tired, but won't give up yet.
eyes drooping, but I write as I of myself demand,
but then my eyes close, and there they set.
my eyes are shut now, for the rest of the night,
my dreams are odd and varied, often so horrible and sad.
ready for a new day of creativity, dream with all my might,
one day, maybe, after all this weird living, I'll go truly MAD!
