I know I've suggested this before, but would like to open the idea to discussion again; a board (in the Guilds' section of the forum) dedicated to RP in different eras. Obviously, you would have to RP a different character (perhaps a descendant/ancestor of your normal one), but asides from that, I see no reason why it'd break the rules of RP. What does everyone think?

I always thought it would be interesting to create a totally different Redwall site based closer to King Arthur's time..say, right after the fall of Rome, but before the Romans are quite done moving out of Britain. Unfortunately, I've had a hell of a lot of trouble finding anyone other than me who knows much about medieval history or even Roman history, so...

Won't over-exaggerate by claiming to know loads about Roman history, but I did study Classics for three years... I was thinking a Guild-like board where members could create RP threads, stating in the title or in an OCC message inside what era/scenario the RP is to take place in.

Maybe. I was thinking more going all out and doing a whole site. It's been a while since there were any new websites on the ROC.

Maybe try a board here and then branch out into an addition site, should it be a success?

Interesting concept. Collapse of the roman empire isn't my strongest area of history, but I'm certainly familiar with weaponry and the like. Also the influences in England and Scotland.
At least I know more than the average American, not that that's really saying much.
