*He'd slept at the Whispering Willow last night. It had seemed easier than returning to Starsett Hollow in the early hours and besides, he hadn't quite planned what he was going to say to Terragon. The confrontation - he shouldn't think of it as that, yet it had very nearly seemed so - with Regen had been difficult enough.* *He shuts the tavern door quietly behind himself and crosses the square, splashing some of the cold water from the half-frozen fountain over his face as he passes. Leaving the paved square for the woodland path, he is surpised to see an unfamilar cottage at its edge and stops in front of it. No, it definately was a new addition to Terralux. The thatch had only recently been laid and the outer walls whitewashed. The place is well built, he decides, turning to go. A noise behind him makes the squirrel stop and he looks back, expecting to see a dragonfly. Who else besides Ashnel Alashia would be awake so early on a mid-winter's morning?*

*The golden squirrel exits her home early in the morning, not expecting to find someone else. She looks at the strange squirrel and decides that it was time to meet some new people; Binn approaches him and bows regally.* Greetings! I'm Binn Murren, only recently a resident of Terralux. I'm of Celtic heritage. Have you ever been to Ireland? It's a lovely place. Oh, I'm sorry, where are my manners? Firstly, who are you? *She smiles, trying to disregard her lack of respect.*

*Ashnel blinks, surprised. Another squirrel. He hadn't expected that. He returns the bow, and gives a warm smile.* Ashnel Alashia. I used to live around here, though I've been travelling for over a year now, *He spares her the details.* I didn't manage to travel to Ireland unfortunately, although I met an Irish badger on the road. Binn Murren? *He repeats her name with another smile. She the third creature he's spoken to since returning to Terralux.* Pleased to meet you.

*She smiles at the dark-furred squirrel.* Would you like something for breakfast? I have some Cool Mint Tea and Watercress Soup in my cottage. Would you like some? It'll be ready in just a moment. *Binn turns back and heads in, not even looking to see if Ashnel follows.*
OOC: Sorry for the tiny post.

*Ashnel, who had already opened his mouth to reply, wears a bemused expression.* Thanks, *He murmurs, though Binn has already gone. Uncertainly, he follows through into the cottage and looks around.* Binn? *He calls.*

*The squirrel turns back to the main room and puts two bowls on the table, with two wooden spoons along with it. Inside, is watercress soup, and some Cool Mint Tea in a flask in the center of the table, with two cups on either side. She smiles at Ashnel and motions toward the table.* There you go. I'm not much of a chef, but my mother taught me how to make this a long time ago, so hopefully I'm good at it. I practically live on this water cress. *She chuckles and takes a seat.*

Thank-you, *Ashnel says again, sitting at the table.* And round here they say - or used to, at least - that even the food at the Whispering Willow is excellant when it's eaten in good company, so I'm certain it'll be brilliant. Have you been to the Whispering Willow yet? *He adds.* I stayed there last night as I arrived very late and didn't want to wake up everybeast in Starsett Hollow. My home, *He adds, enjoying the two words, although calling Starsett Hollow a home is still taking some getting used to.* I don't suppose you've met Danniar, Robin and Terragon yet? *Perhaps Ashnel would've returned to the treehouse had he known that, save Terragon, the place was deserted, the others visiting friends in Mossflower now the threat of attack is over or map-making east of Salamandastron.*

*She smiles at the compliment, but has yet to even hear anything of the Whispering Willow. Shaking her head, Binn places down her spoon.* I've yet to visit the Whispering Willow. The only creatures I've met has been Kael, Tomlin, Rippla, and Sir Regen. I believe I asked one of the Captains -- a Mister Centurio, I believe -- for the permission to build this place with some help. But no, I haven't met Terragon yet, although I hear she's the Leaderess of this Village. *Binn hopes all of her information is accurate, but she has only been here for a short time.*

*Ashnel nods at the names, although Tomlin and Kael are completely unfamiliar.* Yes, Terragon's leaderess of Terralux. Though I hadn't heard that Stoakly Centurio had been made a Captain. He's an old friend, *The squirrel explains.* But before I start being nostalgic, tell me about Ireland and about yourself, of course. O'Neill, the badger I was travelling with, spoke a little about the place, but we mainly talked about Spain, as that was where he was travelling to.

Yes, Stoakly seems pretty nice. *The squirrelmaid nods, then looks back up curiously.* Hm, it's hard to talk about the only place that I've really ever been to. The only things I could speak about are simply the differences between Mossflower and Ireland. Well, families, clans, and tradition seem to be much more prominent there; heirlooms are passed down through families, and we're very proud of our Celtic and Gaelic heritage. I really don't know anything about the history or culture of this place yet, so I'm at a loss.

*Ashnel considers this for a moment before replying.* I'd say Terralux is a mix of cultures; there's so many creatures who've travelled here from all over Mossflower and further afield. The main traditions here are easier to pinpoint... the beginning of each season and solstices of the year are usually celebrated. Then you've got the order of St.Ninian just outside of Terralux. And there's a lot of belief in the Guiding Stars, similar to what the Romans thought. Y'know, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus... that kind of thing. *He continues quickly.* In terms of history, the place is built on and around the ruins of an ancient court that was once ruled by squirrel kings. On the subject of heirlooms... *Ashnel pauses.* I'll be honest with you, I don't really know about that. I suppose, as most things around here were built or made from new, that there's not much passing on of heirlooms, although where I came from - the Pine Woods, south-east of Salamandastron - there was quite a strong tradition. *This said, the squirrel falls into a pensive silence and begins to eat the soup inbetween sips of tea.* This is great, *He tells Binn, nodding at the bowl.*
