I've changed the header from 'week' to 'word' since each period lasts more than a week, and little details like that do bother me. I am far too literal for my own good.
Anyway! The word of the fortnight is stiricide!
Good luck, gentlebeasts!

It is either stirring cider that is eye-flavored, or falling of icicles from a house.

Pretty sure I heard the word in "Macbeth". Dunno...
Stiricide - A way of melting down coins illegally (NB: If you take loads of two and one pence coins to France, you can - apparently - sell them for a lot of euros, to be melted down. But it's illegal... not that I've done it.)

Alright, time's up! Though before I announce the winners, just a note: I'd like to remind everyone that you're only allowed one guess per word. The correct answer goes to Laceleaf! Stiricide is, indeed, "Icicles falling from a house." The most creative answer goes to Terragon. Good work, and very detailed! Could've fooled me. Good job, everyone!
