It's come to my attention that a lot of members' avatars are hotlinked. For those who do not know what hotlinking is...
Hotlinking is copying and pasting the URL of an image direct into your profile. This is a problem, because it uses up the bandwidth on the website where you found the image, meaning the site owner will have to pay more money to host the image, just because you have felt lazy.
How not to hotlink: Save the image first. Now go to Photobuckets or Imageshack or an image-hosting site and use the site to host the image. Only then may you copy the URL into your profile.
