OOC: Yea, make a thread. Anyone who cares 'll read about it here anway.
BIC:
*Regen, seeing Ashnel with his violin, nods to Keia. *Oh..too bad. He'll do alright, though. *Having offered that general word of comfort, he jumps up to fetch his guitarra from where he left it by the fire.*

*Keia sighs and watches Regen leave a second before turning back towards the party, looking about for somebeast else to maybe talk with.* OOC; Umm... Did I stop the RP? Can anyone reply to that?

*Oakrose walks over to Keia.* Would you like to come play the toss with me? I'd like some company, and you look as if you wouldn't mind some either.

OOC: Thanks, Oakrose.
*Keia nods enthusiastically, even though she probably doesn't know how to play 'the toss', as she wasn't exactly paying attention.* Sure. *She replies.*

*Oakrose smiles.* Thankee. So, you take these wooden balls and throw them into the holes. It's quite fun to see who can make the most. Come over here, and you can have the first throw. *She walks elegantly to the corner where toss was set up, and piles up five balls for each person.*

Oh, uh, thanks. *Keia walks over in the same manner, or at least tries her best to. She was no princess, though at one point in her life she did dream of being or becoming one. Examining first the goal, then the wooden spheres, Keia smiles, now remembering the game from earlier seasons and bygone parties. She reflects for a moment that she hasn't been to most of them, but makes light of it as she leans over and daintily picks up the first wooden ball, feeling its weight in her paw.* Okay... *She checks her placement.* Oakrose, *The white squirrel asks after a second or two,* How far do I have to stand from the goal?

*The seermaid pauses thoughtfully for a second. Walking about 9 feet (3 meters) away, Oakrose draws a line in the dirt with the tip of her slipper.* That's where we'll stand. You go first, if it's to far I'll move it forward some.

*Ashnel takes the fiddle from its case and tucks it beneath his chin to play a few long notes, grinning as he notices Regen hurry past in the direction of the guittara. The fiddle is, rather to Ashnel's surprise, in tune, despite having been neglected for so long and he does not have to put on a great show of re-tuning the thing, leaving him to try not to stare rudely at Rippla. Terragon plays a few experimental notes on the reed flute before leaning down slightly to talk to Clearbrook, asking.* What did you say you were going t' sing, again?

*Regen grabs his guitarra, strolls over to a nearby rock, and spends awhile tuning it. He plays a few chords afterwards, then looks up at the others and grins.* *Ready!
*Lonas sits on another large rock nearby and watches the musicians for a second. About halfway through Regen's tuning routine he gets bored and watches Oakrose and Keia instead.* *Rippla remains leaning against the tree, looking around balefully at the partygoers. He seems disinclined to join the party.*

You go first, if it's to far I'll move it forward some. Oh, it's fine. *Keia tells Oakrose with a grin, still hefting the wooden ball.* Here it goes, then. *The white squirrelmaiden throws the ball under-paw, and the projectile arcs splendidly through the air only to miss its mark by a few inches, bouncing off of the goal's edge and hitting the ground once more with a barely audible thud. Keia shrugs.* Well, I was close...
