*Geordie slowly awakes and stretches before sitting up in the grass.* Naught loike a good nap te get tha brain workin' roight....Naow, where are tha others?
*He stands up and brushes the grass and leaves off of his kilt, glancing about him for Terragon and Ashnel. He spots Ashnel and starts heading in his direction.*

*Terragon arrives ahead of the grey squirrel.* I can't find Geor- Oh, there he is. *She pauses and looks around.* Well? *The squirrel asks after a while. What d'you think? *Ashnel looks around, and locates the sun, sinking low into the horizon. The dark squirrel squints against the fading light as he asks the inevitable question.* So, what are we looking for? Something parallel (sp?) with the sun, below it or...? *He trails off.* And what the last line means is beyond me. *Terragon rolls her eyes, and watches the clump of reeds again with little interest and an enigmatic smile.*

*Ashnel waits in silence for nearly quarter of an hour, still squinting against the sun. As it draws level with the stream, he gives up and flings himself down against a tree.* This is hopeless! *The dark squirrel snaps. He checks himself, and continues calmly.* If anybeast else has any ideas, then so be it. I'm inclined to go back t' the Tavern or the Battle Hall.
*Terragon smirks.* If I were you, I'd read the rhyme carefully. *She never looks up as she stares, almost entranced, at the stream.*

*Geordie recites back the rhyme from memory.* Watch here fer settin' sun, an' another treach'rous pun...
Play on words...mayhap the loines are jest that, both o' them. Settin' sun could be sittin' son...Ach, Ah kenn it nae. Mayhaps i'tis, mayhaps i'tisn't.

Y'should read the riddle. *Terragon repeats, with the same emphathis on the word "read." Talis' eyes widen; his expression is of one who can see a path, but can't quite find the end to it.* Read? *He echoes.* As in reed, mayhaps?

*Terragon spreads her paws in a dramatic gesture to say: "Finally!"* Wasn't tha' easy, Terragon. *Ashnel reminds her.* An' I'll take back what I said about Talis' brain. Right, Talis? *As always, the little fox nods agreeably before turning to watch Geordie.* 'S just there. *He tells the other, pointing. Ashnel cranes his neck to see the scrap of parchment.*

OOC: You read my mind! That's exactly what I logged in to do. BIC: *As Geordie reads, Terragon mouths the words in a bored voice and nods her head impatiently: Good evening, we meet again, But linger not in the darkness' danger, And hurry home, enigmatic stranger. Ponder this riddle through the night, For a verse more I shall write...
In morning find the the Dibbuns' Isle And find there the wolfish shark, Follow down to Jupiter's mark. 'Neath deepness you'll find another, Another clue, my parchment brother.* *Ashnel re-reads the last line over the grey squirrel's shoulder.* Another clue?! *He asks, in mock despair.* Though not 'til morning I guess. No. *Terragon agrees, as though speaking to an over-adventurous dibbun.* And not a moment before.

Sure. *Ashnel agrees, turning in the direction of the battle hall.* I migh' join you later. *The red squirrel raises a paw in acknowledgement before she and Talis make their way make to Starsett Hollow.* How many clues are there? *The fox asks in passing. Terragon grins softly but doesn't reply until Talis reaches the little wooden caravan and she mutters a goodnight. The squirrel makes her way into the silent treehouse. Neither Ayeny nor Robin await her or Ashnel's return. Robin returns soon. Terragon reminds herself, as she potters around the quiet rooms.*
OOC: Advancing quest?

OOC: Oops, silly me!
BIC: *Geordie appears bright and early the next morning looking none the worse for his night spent largely at the tavern, affectionately labeled "Tha Pub" by our Highland hero. As he waits for the others to arrive, he ponders the riddle they had uncovered the night before.*
Hm...tha note said te expect another pun...se Ah wonder which part o' this'n is pun, an' which is te be seen as truth?
Dibbun's Isle tain't tha name, Ah'm sure o' it...mayhaps a place whare tha bairns loike te play?

*Ashnel arrives, followed by Terragon and Talis. After exchanging a greeting, the latter, the fox cub, nods.* There's a few islands like that on the lake. *He confirms.* Though wolves an' sharks are beyond me. *Ashnel bites his lip, and looks as though he's about to speak, but changes the subject at the last moment.*
And Jupiter's mark isn't too hard either: Whether Terragon - *The dark squirrel nods to the other.* - means Jupiter the planet; Jupiter of Citadel; or Lord Starsett Jupiter of Salamandastron; it all comes down to this - Jupiter's mark is a star. *Talis pauses.* So we're looking for a star, maybe in the sky, or perhaps some kind of engraving of picture. Geordie? *He turns to the grey squirrel for his opinion.*

Terragon's nodding. *Talis says suddenly. Sure enough, the red squirrel bobs her head slowly.* An engraving? *Ashnel asks cautiously. The nodding increases.* Ah... Talis, Geordie, does that help you in any way? An engraving on an island in the lake-?
