**Lettuceleaf squints at the exiting Terragon suspiciously, but finally decides to make nothing of it. Turning back to Aurora, the hare winked confidently at her.**
Well, miss, I'm Lettuceleaf. I suppose I've just arrived here, same's'you. **He turns to the bartender.**
Drinks on me, sirrah. Add it to my bill, or whatever you squirrelfolk do about these parts.

**Aurora takes a particularly big gulp of the light ale, now that she had become attracted to it. Letting out a single giggle, the mousemaid hiccups, before her hazel gaze wanders onto the exiting Terragon, then Lettuceleaf.**
My my, that ale sure is strong sometimes. *hic* 'Cuse me. I'm Aurora Ivywind Crimsonpaws, though I often t'ink the title is a bit too fancy for one of me heritage.
**The mousemaid hiccups again, but not before clapping a paw to her mouth in a pitiful attempt to stifle it. Cocking her head to smile innocently, Aurora takes another sip of her drink.**
Aye, we're the two newest beasts here, eh? I don't suppose many beasts stumble upon this place; looks pretty peaceful to me.

**Lettuceleaf twitched one of his long ears. The haremaiden, Aurora, seemed to have had one too many swigs of ale. Taking his glass in one paw, the hare sipped his drink in what he imagined to be an elegant fashion.**
Aye, you're bally well right, though that squirrel marm, Terragon, seems to have sommat bothering her. Ah well, none of my bally conern. So, how'd you find your way here?

Regen looks over at Terragon. "Th' treehouses are full..ev'n th' empty ones. Th' houseboats wot still floated are too, an' th' otters beached th' holed un's t' make houses. Apoth'cary's full, Lonas is sleepin' in there t' make sure nobeast steals anything. So's th' Hall." "We're about swamped." He pauses at the mention of the Guild Houses, clears his throat, and smiles in a somewhat wary manner. "An'..well, th' Guild leaders don't wan' anybeast in t' Houses..on account of most o' th' beasts 'ere bein' vermin...ye know 'ow beur'crats are. Lonas wouldn' let me threaten 'em at swordpoint." He shrugs a bit, as if glossing over the fact that he would've threatened the Guilds. "..we're close t' full up, an' Rippla ain't even back yet."

*Terragon nods, strategically ignoring the fact that Ashnel also would've threatened the Guilds.* I might be able to persuade the Wild Woodlanders' Guild that they ought to be helping us. Did I mention St. Ninian's? *She sighs.* No, if it's being used as a base, I suppose we better not. *Terragon's ears twitch as an idea occurs to her.* Starsett, *She says simply, excitedly.* It's a big place. Not... *The leaderess begins to trail off.* Big enough for everybeast, but one or two, at least? *She hates the questioning note in her voice and replaces it with a more decisive tone as she repeats,* Starsett. And temporary accomodation. Tents, porches, caravans, carts - I saw some woodlanders towing a cart in this morning - anything. And out in the woods, there's some shrines dotted around... y'know, stone things with little rooves over them. Hell's Teeth, who cares if it's disrespectful, *Terragon mutters.* It'll work.

OOC: Ahem, Aurora is a mouse, not a hare. BIC: *Aurora nods absentmindedly, before her gaze travels to where Terragon had departed. The mousemaid talks in a surprisingly loud voice for one so distracted, her eyes fixed on the door of the Whispering Willow Tavern.* Wanderin' about in Mossflower, happened to stumble on this peaceful place; the usual story. **Aurora hiccuped again, much to her own annoyance. The fieldmouse's slender tail twitches, before the mousemaid resumes her stare at the entrance of the tavern. Her voice drops to a soft murmur.* 'Pologize, but I need to go out and search for a friend who said they're comin' to meet me today. I'll be back in a moment. **Aurora smiled, sipping her ale one last time, before leaving her seat to stumble out the entrance. The mousemaid's keen hazel eyes search the scene before her, looking for signs of Mystic. When no telltale clues of her approach were yielding, Aurora decided to look for Terragon and that squirrel named Regen, in an effort to keep herself amused.**

OOC: >< So sorry. I thought I read 'haremaid' in one of your posts. Forgive me, I tend to have my head in the clouds.
BIC: **The irrepressible hare takes another sip from his beaker, suddenly finding himself alone. standing with a small groan, he tosses athe bartender a silver coin to pay for the drink, and then heads out of the tavern himself. Not much use sitting hunched over a bar table with no company.**
**As he made his way to the porch, the hare heard urgent voices. Recognizing one as Terragon's, he slips silently to the front door, leaning on a rail and eavesdropping on the conversation. It seemed to involve Aurora and himself, but he could discern no sense from it.**

**Aurora's large ears pick up tense voices nearby. Tired of waiting for her friend, the mousemaid curls her slender tail around her legs, slipping behind the rail on the porch to stare through the bars at Terragon's feet. The clever mousemaid managed to pick out words like "Starsett", "Guilds", and "full". Aurora froze as a twig crunched beneath an approaching otter's footpaws, afraid it might draw attention in her direction. The mouse never had been good at eavesdropping.**
OOC: Oh yeah. The haremaid was the barmaid. Hehe.
